Review
Sportsmans Park is not just a place to stay, it’s its own little world tucked into a working harbor. The park features 11 thoughtfully designed units, a mix of themed RVs and tiny homes, including a standout Airstream complete with a hot tub. There are also two RV spaces for those traveling with their own setup. Some units even feature local art available for purchase, adding to the sense that this place is curated, not cookie-cutter. Stephen, the owner, is amazing. Attentive, present, and clearly invested in creating something special here. This is the place I choose to stay every chance I get.
Whether the fog is rolling in thick or the sky is crystal clear, Sportsmans Park delivers atmosphere in spades. Sunsets here are postcard worthy, the cry of sea lions echoes through the harbor, and ocean life is part of the daily soundtrack. Being in the only working harbor between San Francisco and Eureka gives the park a living, breathing energy that you simply can’t replicate. It feels authentic, grounded, and alive.
Each stay has been incredible , the entire place is an absolute gem. The staff were exceptional, attentive, helpful, and completely on point with their service. The unit are all fully stocked for your stay with thoughtful touches throughout. A full kitchen made it easy to settle in, and the community deck overlooking the harbor quickly became our favorite place to start and end the day.
The layout of the tiny homes are smart and cozy, with a private bedroom and loft. This makes it perfect for couples, families, or a small groups. Outside, fire pits and picnic tables create a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The location manages to be close to everything while still feeling like a quiet oasis along the water. Comfortable, clean, beautifully managed, and genuinely special. This is one of those places you leave already planning your return
