What a great way to end a Thursday night than some time with my son and a meal at Bernillo's Pizzeria & Subs. I’ve been going to this spot since before I moved to the coast at the turn of the century, there are many great memories and it has a special place in my heart 💜. Tonight I caught a glimpse of something I hadn’t seen there before, Pork Belly. I am a huge fan of this wonderfully delectable treat and try it everywhere I can. Tonight is the first time I’ve had it on a sub so no more 🍒 🤔😳🙄🙈. It was fabulous full of flavor on a roll that was the perfect balance between soft and hard bread garnished with fresh vegetables. I think the best part was that they did not try to overwhelm it with any heavy condiments which to me enhanced the flavor. This is a must try and will now be a go to when I’m in the market for a sammich 🥰.
