I’d driven and walked by this place many times wanting to stop but never having the time. Yesterday I took a second to stop in to find a Christmas present for someone who has it all. I’m a big fan of the harbor and have always wanted to convert one of the historic buildings into a cool residence. Entering this fabulous redo, the fire burns brighter. The space takes you in a tasting room that transports you back in time and is balanced by a state of the art equipment used to make their fine wares. I felt bad interrupting the proprietors lunch, but I was on a time crunch. He was very engaging and answered my questions to a T, so instead of leaving with one bottle I left with 3… sadly none for me and no samples as I was volunteering. I would highly recommend that whether you live here, or are just visiting, that you stop in if you are age appropriate. I think it will become another abalone pearl on the coast.
