If you haven’t been to The Beehive in Ukiah yet, you’re seriously missing out. This place buzzes with flavor, creativity, and an atmosphere that somehow feels both upscale and completely unpretentious.
The oysters? Absolutely immaculate and so fresh they taste like they just leapt out of the Pacific and onto your plate. Briny, clean, and ice-cold, they set the tone for a dining experience that only gets better.
Next up: the torched salmon sashimi which is a masterpiece of craft. Lightly flame-kissed to bring out the richness without losing its silky texture, it’s the kind of dish that makes you slow down and savor every bite.
And then there’s my personal addiction: the glazed pork belly. Perfectly rendered, meltingly tender, and finished with a glaze that strikes that magical balance between savory, sweet, and just a hint of heat. Honestly, if they offered this by the bucket, I’d order two.
The Beehive doesn’t stop at the food either. Their bar is loaded with a thoughtfully curated selection of spirits, including some incredible homespun specialties you won’t find anywhere else. Happy hour here is happy for a reason combining amazing deals, handcrafted cocktails, and a vibe that just makes you want to linger.
